"My Marimba One™ is the instrument I chose out of all the brands I knew. I cannot think of playing on any other instrument, because so far, it has never failed to convey what I want to share as an artist. It is just the right medium between me and my audience."

Manuel Leuenberger

Manuel Leuenberger is primarily active as a "Marimba Artist" with his solo program or in various ensembles. Born in Thun in 1988 and trained as a classical percussionist, he performs in established duos with clarinet, organ, and tap dance. He appears as a soloist with orchestras, choirs, and symphonic wind ensembles. His activities are rounded out by regular solo recitals in retirement homes and his work as a private music mentor.

Manuel Leuenberger studied in Switzerland and the USA and has been working entirely as a freelancer since 2024. Highlights of his career include a performance at the Berlin Philharmonic, receiving the Culture Prize of the city of Wetzikon, and various solo concerts composed specifically for him. In November 2024, he premiered the newly composed concerto for marimba and orchestra by Emmanuel Séjourné with the Dornach Orchestra at the Goetheanum Dornach. At the end of 2024, his solo album "Fluss der Zeit" was released, featuring a variety of works for marimba solo, including three of his own compositions.
