"I choose to perform on Marimba One because I love the beauty and power that their instruments provide"
Matt Silverberg
Video game enthusiast Matt Silverberg (AKA MarimbaMatt) has carved a niche in the music world thanks to his love of video game music and the marimba.
Matt has arranged a plethora of video game and film tunes that have garnered thousands of views on YouTube and has performed as a soloist at numerous conventions including MAGFest, VGMCon, and 2D Con. He performs his solo act frequently within Minnesota and Wisconsin and will be performing at Green Bay’s inaugural Fringe Fest this July.
His extensive performance experience isn’t limited to solo performing as he’s also performed with VocalEssence, the Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus, Valleyfair amusement park, Heartland Marimba Ensemble, and orchestras across the upper midwest such as the Duluth, Dubuque, and La Crosse Symphonies.
Matt released his debut album “Bottled Memories”, an electro/rock marimba album this past March and is currently working on an EP of Zelda marimba music.
Matt currently freelances and teaches in Saint Paul, Minnesota
