Wang Yu'ang was born in Taiyuan, Shanxi in 1998, who studied percussion since childhood. Wang Yu'ang has successively studied under Liu Xuelin, the chief percussion musician of the Symphony Orchestra of Shanxi Song and Dance Theater, and Liu Heng, the percussion music minister of the China National Center for the Performing Arts Orchestra.
In 2016, Wang Yu'ang was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music Orchestral Department with excellent grades and studied under Professor Li Biao.
Since 2017, Wang Yu'ang has participated in several important performances with the China Youth Symphony Orchestra, including a series of concerts and tours celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China at the Central Conservatory of Music and the Concert Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening up.
In September 2020, Wang Yu'ang was recommended for a master's degree in Central Conservatory of Music and continued to study with Professor Li Biao. During this period, he won the first-class scholarship for graduate students of the Central Conservatory of Music for two consecutive years.
Wang Yu'ang won the second place in the professional youth group Marimba, Snare Drum, Timpani, Vibraphone and multi-percussion pentathlon of the 13th National Youth Percussion Competition.
Won the "Best Performance Award" in the 13th Central Conservatory of Music "Yanhuang Cup" Percussion Composition Competition.
Held three solo concerts at the Central Conservatory of Music in 2019, 2021 and 2023.
In July 2023, the "Resonance and Echo - Wang Yu'ang Percussion Concert" was performed at the Music Hall of Shanxi Grand Theater. Conducted by Li Biao, Wang Yu'ang performed the percussion concerto with Shanxi Symphony Orchestra, which was widely recognized by the society. "Wang Yu 'ang delivers the breadth, brightness and precision of percussion," said a feature article in Music Weekly. At the same time, the concert was also reported by China News Network, Shanxi Evening News and other media. Over the years, Wang Yu 'ang has been active in solo, chamber and symphonic concerts. He has been present in the National Center for the Performing Arts, Zhongshan Concert Hall, Beijing Concert Hall, Central Conservatory of Music, Shanxi Grand Theatre, Tsinghua University Concert Hall, Peking University Hall, and Capital Normal University. Wang Yu 'ang has performed as a soloist in Tianjin Percussion Art Week, Beijing International Electronic Music Festival, Beijing Youth Art Festival, Jinbao Percussion Art Festival, etc.

1998年出生于山西太原。自幼学习打击乐。先后师从于山西省歌舞剧院交响乐团打击乐首席刘雪林和国家大剧院管弦乐团打击乐声部长刘恒。
2016年以优异的成绩考入中央音乐学院管弦系跟随李飚教授学习。
2017年起随中国青年交响乐团参与中央音乐学院庆祝建国七十周年系列音乐会巡演、庆祝改革开放40周年音乐会等多次重要演出活动。
2020年9月，保送中央音乐学院硕士研究生，继续跟随李飚教授学习。期间连续两年获得中央音乐学院研究生一等学业奖学金。
曾获第十三届全国青少年打击乐大赛专业青年组马林巴、小军鼓、定音鼓、颤音琴、组合打击乐五项全能第二名。
在第十三届中央音乐学院“炎黄杯”打击乐作品作曲比赛中获得“最佳演奏奖”。
分别于2019年、2021年、2023年在中央音乐学院举办三场个人独奏音乐会。
2023年7月于山西大剧院音乐厅上演“共鸣与回响-王雨昂打击乐音乐会”。同时由李飚指挥，与山西交响乐团共同演绎打击乐协奏曲，受到广泛的社会认可。《音乐周报》发表专题报道称：“王雨昂敲出了打击乐的广度、亮度与精度。”此外该场音乐会还被中国新闻网、山西晚报等多家媒体报道。
王雨昂多年来活跃于独奏、室内乐、交响乐等形式的音乐会，演出足迹遍布于国家大剧院、中山音乐堂、北京音乐厅、中央音乐学院王府音乐厅、山西大剧院、清华大学音乐厅、北京大学百年讲堂、首都师范大学。以独奏的身份参演天津打击乐艺术周、北京国际电子音乐节、北京青年艺术节、津宝打击乐艺术节等。
