Marimba One Artists

Chen Yao is now the Deputy Chief of the Percussion department at the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, the Second Timpani, the Director of the Marimba Association of China, the external percussion teacher of Music College of South China Normal University, and the external percussion teacher of art college of South China University of Technology. In 1999 she was admitted to the Xi 'an College of Music, from professor Ya-guang Liu to learn percussion, and studied abroad after graduation in Austria in 2003, and was admitted to Graz University of Music and the Performing Arts, from Gerald Fromme, professor, with the first name in 2008 and was admitted to Cologne, Germany College of Music, and was admitted to Cologne, the first Chinese percussion music college professional, from CaLos Tacha professor, study for a graduate student of beats solo and chamber music. In February 2011, she graduated with honors and obtained a Masters degree from the Music College in Cologne. Since September 2011, she worked in Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, and has cooperated with hundreds of excellent world conductors and musicians and participated in many percussion concerts.
